Our large pillar candles are made to create a big candle light to fill all your rooms. We love coming home and lighting one or two of these candles and let them burn until we go to bed.

The pure cotton wick and the highest quality beeswax from our local beekeepers ensures these candles burn beautifully all day long.

We recommend burning these a minimum of 4 hours each time. A great candle to keep you company.

This is our recommendation as an emergency and blackout candles. A great back up plan for lighting if the power supply is interrupted.

Since 2006 Happy Flame has hand crafted beeswax candles in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.

Our beeswax is sourced from our local area, renown for being the highest quality and cleanest in Australia. We do not add anything to our wax. Your candles are 100% beeswax. That means no oils, no additives, and definitely no artifical fragrances.

We also don't filter out all the good things in the beeswax (most candle makers do, which means all our candles have a beautiful aroma. This is the number one reason people love our candles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum time I should burn the large pillar candles?

Our large pillar candles are made for long times. We recommend you burn them until the melted wax pool is from edge to edge. This usually takes a minimum of 4 hours each time. Burning this amount of time ensures the candle doesn’t “hollow-out”. More information on long burning candles information here.

Do these candles drip or overflow?

No, we make our pillar candles so they don’t drip. If you have them outside in a strong breeze then the wind may push the melted wax over the edge. If you are wanting candles for outdoors our recommendation is our candles in glass holders. Click here to see our range of refillable candles in glass holders.

We love these candles

These candles are just the best and we love the subtle beeswax scent whilst they are burning. They are so long lasting as well as being part of family celebrations we never put the overhead lights on anymore. So thats a great saving of electricity as well. Thank you Happy Flame
