Our large pillar candles are made to create a big candle light to fill all your rooms. We love coming home and lighting one or two of these candles and let them burn until we go to bed.

The pure cotton wick and the highest quality beeswax from our local beekeepers ensures these candles burn beautifully all day long.

We recommend burning these a minimum of 4 hours each time. A great candle to keep you company.

This is our recommendation as an emergency and blackout candles. A great back up plan for lighting if the power supply is interrupted.

Since 2016 Happy Flame has hand crafted beeswax candles in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.

Our beeswax is sourced from our local area, renown for being the highest quality and cleanest in Australia. We do not add anything to our wax. Your candles are 100% beeswax. That means no oils, no additives, and definitely no artifical fragrances.

We also don't filter out all the good things in the beeswax (most candle makers do, which means all our candles have a beautiful aroma. This is the number one reason people love our candles.

Kind words from our customers

“I adore these Spirit candles! These are the candles I use on my altars, in my client sessions, on my dance floors, in my home, and anywhere that I want to enhance the aesthetics and frequency of the space. The light and the aroma literally do make me feel happy! 💛 especially as i know that they're also emitting negative ions and cleansing the space. I also appreciate how consistently and evenly they burn and there's never any drips. Here's to the next 12+ years of using Happy Flame candles for every occasion. Thank you so much Peter, for your care, commitment and top class candles.”

“I just received my first order of your beautiful candles and I was so excited to open them! It was like a present to myself! I was so delighted to see all the beautiful candles, they smelt AMAZING too. We have been going through a lot of candles lately and the beeswax ones we have been using were fine, but these are really next level. I started using them straight away! Anyway, thanks again!"

Beautiful natural aroma and the bright candle light.

The only eco-friendly, sustainable wax for candles

Beeswax is the candle wax that nature provides for us. The bees create the wax and we harvest it with little disruption to their hives.

When the honey and beeswax is harvested it is only the excess the bees have made taken. In doing this, the bees continue to thrive and create more honey and wax. Beeswax is truly the only sustainable candle wax

Other candle waxes are created using chemical processes, not good for you or the environment. There is more information here (click link) about how other candle waxes are made and why beeswax is a better choice for your health.

Certified organic for a chemical free experience.

If you would like to ensure that your beeswax candles are guaranteed chemical free, we offer candles made from certified organic beeswax. We have two beekeepers that are Certified organic, and we (Happy Flame) are also a Certified organic producer so you know the beeswax truly organic.

Our beeswax is certified to be chemical free by a third party, Australian Organic. You will know will know the ACO logo. They are Australian largest certifier and best known.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum time I should burn the large pillar candles?

Our large pillar candles are made for long times. We recommend you burn them until the melted wax pool is from edge to edge. This usually takes a minimum of 4 hours each time. Burning this amount of time ensures the candle doesn’t “hollow-out”. More information on long burning candles information here.

Do these candles drip or overflow?

No, we make our pillar candles so they don’t drip. If you have them outside in a strong breeze then the wind may push the melted wax over the edge. If you are wanting candles for outdoors our recommendation is our candles in glass holders. Click here to see our range of refillable candles in glass holders.
